My Father La Promesa Robusto Grande is hand rolled by the legendary cigar maker himself using a reddish-brown Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper with spicy Nicaragua long fillers and binders from the Gracia family farms. This marriage results in a full-bodied cigar with notes of pepper, chocolate, leather, spices, nuts, and wood that balances off with an oakiness and sweet creaminess. The cigar is medium to full-flavored in flavor with a complex but not overwhelming smoke. The masterpiece is available in five vitolas, each in boxes of 20: Robusto (5 1/2″ x 54), Toro (6″ x 52), Lancero (7 1/2″ x 38), Corona Gorda (5 1/2″ x 48), and Petite (4 1/2″ x 50).
