Description
For their next classic, Pepin and Jaime Garcia breathed life into an old brand when they released My Father La Gran Oferta Toro Gordo. The cigar is blended from a core of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos housed in a dark and lustrous Cuban-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador. The oily wrapper gives it a glossy sheen. These cigars are handcrafted in Esteli, deep in the heart of Nicaragua, in the My Father Cigars S.A factory. This family-run factory is also home to brands like San Cristobal, La Aroma de Cuba, and Tatuaje. La Gran Oferta comes in five different sizes.
When you have two #1 Cigar of the Year in the 97-rated My Father Le Bijou 1922 and the 96-rated Flor de las Antilla, the pressure is always on to deliver, and the patriarchal duo did not disappoint. Like all cigars blended by the Garcias, spice is a central feature in the flavor profile. In addition to this, your palate is treated to notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, wood, almond, and caramel, The cigar’s construction also gives it an edge over other hand-rolled cigars. The artistry of the expert rollers means you get sturdy stooges. No need to worry about your draw because it is guaranteed to be perfect. Each pack comes in a 20-count cedar box. The box is adorned with elaborate decorations with an ornate My Father logo on the front.
